How about some conversation about Carlos Mendoza for Manager of the Year? He deserves consideration regardless of how the season ends! Let's Go Mets...💙🧡

That's a Premature Stretch ............Carlos has NOT Won Anything Yet.......

@@stem50 My point is that regardless of where they finish, Mendoza has ably demonstrated his ability to handle managing/scrutiny of New York, and keeping control of the team under sometimes difficult times. The Mets never gave up on themselves, even when some fans did. He has kept the team together as a cohesive group.

I have posted same sentiment many times in the past month +...For sure Carlos for NL Manager of the Year, if nothing for else, his managing a 22 - 33 Team to a 74 - 64 Team, a +21 Games over .500 turn-around in 83 Games

Thought this was a bad hire, I was wrong. This team is in good hands with Mendoza managing the club

I never thought he was a bad hire. Even when a lot of ppl did I knew he needed some time to shine. Mendy will have success moving forward. He’s already made his mark on this team and will continue to do so.

@@Jqueens93he was a bad hire at the time. You fire Buck, you don't land Council. It was a bad start just like the season.

Our bullpen has gone from atrocious to one of best in league. Nunez, Butto, and Young are on fire this year

I appreciate Mendoza's old school management style but I think it has cost the Mets a few games this season. A lot of times in obvious pinch hit situations he doesn't pinch hit, he benches players randomly "for a day off" even when they're hot or going against a favorable pitching match up, his use of the bull pen has been all over the place. But on the other hand he seems to have really gotten the trust of the players, and seems adept at motivating them to play hard. Overall I think it comes down to trusting your gut over listening to your head and its made for a bit of an old school team
