Pat Metheny is gunna out-blues buddy Guy? He might play a thousand notes with perfect precision, but the blues isn't about playing for sport. This isn't MMA...its about playing something, and feeling it so your audience feels it too...if it is a simple idea.

Santana in his best moment when he was oriented to create instrumental music showed great skill to create compositions with very deep feeling as one example Europe and many guitarist around the world name him as a model. Everybody now that he is oriented toward other direction but it is his decition/

This was the most unbelievable thing that I have ever watched between two guitarist. Buddy is the man and always will be as far as I'm concerned. But Carlos was great, too. The two just worked it out and had fun. Buddy, you're the best! I guess that I will just be prejudice for the rest of my existence. No one beats Buddy.

Two great legends performing just to remind us that music crosses all social lines...it's all about the music. The great Tim Austin of Chicago on drums. Played with the Staple Singers for years and now plays for Mr. Guy. He's having a ball!! His wife, Nellie Tiger Travis is a mainstay on the Chicago blues scene. Catch him playing for her sometimes in Chicago at places like Blues Chicago.
