Star Fox 64: Sector X Stage: Easy Path to Titania

Andross has another secret weapon in Sector X. Star Fox heads there to seek and destroy it.
Sector X has 3 different routes, the most in the entire game. One for each difficulty.
To use the Easy Path, proceed through the level as normal, right up to reaching the secret weapon at the end, which is the boss.
Beat the first phase of the weapon, then after he gains his second wind, wait for a few seconds or start shooting him again, but not too much to finish him for good.
After a moment, Slippy will approach the weapon to help Fox out... only for the weapon to swat him away to Planet Titania. Now you can finish the secret weapon off.
Fox, Falco, and Peppy then proceed to Titania to save Slippy. And he wonders why so many people can't stand him...

I haven't played this game in years since my N64 finally keeled over, but I still got a little involuntary spike of adrenaline when I heard Falco give that "enemy group behind us, man they're fast!" line. This level used to stress me out so much as a kid. Funny what your body remembers.

That’s why it shocked me cause Slippy almost scared me to death. He survived but that’s how he got stranded on Titania. But Planet Titania is a ringed desert planet and without food and water and without shelter for days or maybe weeks, He could die there. Same for Peppy instead of Slippy on Starfox Zero cause my reaction is the same.

(edit: old comment I don't agree with anymore) I wish it was possible to come here from Aquas. That way Slippy's biggest contribution to the team could be properly established before the risk of him dying is introduced. I feel like this moment, and the entirety of Titania would have been a bit more powerful that way.

Yeah they should've had Aquas split into an easy and hard version like Corneria does. It's the only water level so they should have done more with it.

Hmm- since Aquas has a single hard path to Zoness, you could go to Macbeth from Zoness, and Macbeth still gives you access to Area 6. This way, you can use both the Blue Marine and the Landmaster in a single run.

In mid-2007, I played Wii SF64 on SX, and as I completely defeated Cyborg, he barely managed to slap Slippy to Titania, getting that last split-second Mission Complete. I finally recreated it in 2022 for a TikTok.

They forgot to put the rings around Titania. In the 3DS Version, They didn’t. Fortuna is actually Fichina in Starfox 64 cause it’s an Ice planet.

Yeah that’s what almost scared me cause Slippy almost got himself killed.
