I find her commentary to be quite off-putting. The other thing that bothers me is that magnus can't do no wrong by most commentators but he often makes mistakes. Thing is his opponents make more. I think magnus is probably the best endgame player. And since the opening is pretty much scripted (or prepared) you need to be able to secure a big enough advantage in the middle game against him. mvl and hikaru are probably closest to him in end game strength. The other thing is the format. It's not seperate matches . It is first to 3.5 so if you gain an advantage in the match that advantage is huge. Especially when you are so strong in end games. The best commentators by far are David Howell, jovanka houska, vichy anand , judit polgar, yasser seirewan. Yasser seirewan has the best stories. I do think that in blitz or bullet the commentary should be about the implications of the last move. Instead of focussing on possible lines since often what is played is different. Sure you can point out that the implication means there is a forced checkmate in three. But quite often they are discussing lines when the actual game is 4 moves ahead in a different direction,

The hardest I've laughed is when I'm super focused on the review and drawn into the game review when there's suddenly a way of describing a situation that perfectly describes the game but formulated in such a way, that I almost miss the joke because it fits in so nicely with the game. Like I'm nodding along, a BEAST of a knight or a slightly different name variation and than suddenly it sinks in. (just an example but please keep surprising, sparsely otherwise I can't focus and it's not unexpected anymore, favorite Chess channel, unsubscribed to Levic Chess, cheers!
