God is love...there is no love w/o Him...It was at His expense-and our divine love is paid for---We can just walk in it...The mind of man will always disagree on theory- blah-blah blah- but love demonstrated is sanctification...Love is the answer-love and only love has the pwoer to change the mind- perfect love casts out fear-We have to begin to see love as power, truth personified...I ron't agree with a lot of teachings, opinions, verbiage- should I then hate? I dont agree with Rob- I don t get it...SO-should I bow my postion as the righteousness of God in Christ- then I would be deceived...now I am not...nor am I influenced...

Rob Bell is the divine Sovereignty on the Bible,. He asked God to step off the throne. He told God, “I got it from here.” So glad he did that, I thought the universe was going to fall apart.

I was sooo excited to listen to this episode. I'd always hoped they could get together and do a talk. I was surprised by how much Rob didn't know about Carlton Pearson and vice versa. Really is two different worlds it seems. I was also a little saddened that this was (seemingly) the first time Bishop Pearson had heard of the world of podcasts. Makes me want to the people that work with him and bop them on the head a little.

Either the Holy Spirit will reveal the Bible to you as truth BEFORE the end of time, or at the end of time you will find out what is true. Grace and peace to you.

Pat 12 Hi, so you believe that the Bible is literally true, and 100% historically accurate, that Jesus said all the things that the Bible claims he said. That's good. I must say i am happy for you even. Infact so long as this is the believe that inspires you to be a good person, then it will be a sin for me to expose you to the truth when you are not ready for it. Please stay and be strong in the faith as you know it, because it is the source of your inspiration for good works. maybe one day when you start to grow and question all that you have been thought (in addition to your raw faith) then i think you will be ready. I don't know who is more progressive or radical in Christianity! Is it Carlton Pearson or United Church of Christ? I love both them both! I tried going to the Unitarian Universalist church, but attending a church with atheists and not hearing much about God is not for me. I am attending UCC because I do prefer Christianity and hearing about God and the Bible. I like when pastors are inclusive of other religions in their sermons without sacrificing who we are. I am into Buddhism and Taoist Philosophy but not as religions. I love wisdom!

Regressive is more like it, they basically call the bible a lie and Jesus not the only way and everyone goes to heaven and there is no hell, totally against the word of God, that is regressive.

RO/// God did not delegate His authority to anyone. He is fully capable of handling His own creation. The bible is the word of man about his concept of God. Those are not HIS commands in the bible. They belong solely to the writers of those words. Some good, some bad. What the Creator teaches is better found in spirit writings, not a 2000 year old book full of contradiction, discrepancy and error.

It is not only God who is in that space. Though I understand that the other celestial beings have never seen God either. Sometimes when we think we hear God himself we could be hearing from high celestial spirits, who are within the divine spheres. They too link with us. That's possibly why the Bishop heard 'we' and not 'I'. They do the work of God in guiding and answering questions. These beings can only link us when our soul condition gives them permission in our humility, because they will not over ride ur free will. Also there has to be an opening in our soul condition before they can link us...I think I understand this to be more light in us. Apparently they cannot link darkened souls because such souls are surrounded by darkened forces, influencing that soul to stay or get deeper in such a condition. When we are surrounded by darkness, the light waits for this opening, and can get in, in those moments before we go back into old habits of darkness. Some people gets the brief message because they seek such answers. The Bishop was sincerely perplexed, so he had a longing for answers......he got it. Now he decides to go with it and I admire him for doing so. He knows that is only the tip of it. If he keeps being open, he could help make the world a better, more loving place. I have learnt that there are many ways to heaven, but only one way to God. This one way is by the 'true' teachings of Jesus. I say true because the Bible often misquotes Jesus. Heaven has a whole lot of dimensions. God's dimensions begin from the 8th sphere.
