Oh she has no idea what Sonny is capable of when he's having a breakdown. Ava is playing with fire when it comes to Sonny. She says she loves Avery, but she clearly doesn't. Because she can see her daughter's father destabilizing right in front of her and he's so unhinged that he thinks he's okay and now he's justify going on off in people. From a writer’s perspective, he’s like Deke. If it weren’t for the writers sabotaging Valentin’s character to excuse the violence-- You’d have no argument.
