Early on she was still in the “omgzzz you’re too dangerous to be around “ phase, she has definitely chilled out now

Sonny and Carly did that, and Elizabeth took Jason's lead when he said it was better that Lucky was the father. Elizabeth always just wanted Jason to say that he loves her, the boys, and they could make it. He never did that. That was reserved for Carly, Michael, Sonny and Sonnys kids.

I hate they’re sending the majority of Liz’s kids away…..I thought they wanted attract all age groups to Soaps. You can’t do that if you keep sending all the young legacy characters away or killing them off. Jake should be central character. Jake is very much like Elizabeth. When Jason & Jake hugged I couldn't help but see a bit of regret in Jason's eyes. Regret that he didn't chose a life with Elizabeth & her sons. I remember how you were either Team Liz or team sam but it didn't really matter cause the producers were always team sam so Jason always wound up back with sam. Now here we are YEEEARS down the road.... sam doesn't want Jason around their son and Liz may be ambivalent of Jason trying to finally connect with his son but she's smart enough to know she can't make that choice for Jake. She knows he needs to get to really know his dad. Hopefully the producers won't put carly first in Jason's life again.

He really was a hero until he got her pregnant. It’s like he stuck around and protected her for 10 years, her life mattered to him. She mattered to him as soon as he got what he wanted from her, he threw her away like a piece of trash and that is what makes me think. Jason Morgan is garbage.

@@pattygarcia3504 I don't know about him being garbage but I don't think he's the hero the creators and producers keep making him out to be. He's dysfunctional relationship with carly got to go on for decades and still is because he let it. He ignored Jake for years but the producers make it out to look like there were valid reasons or circumstances that made it understandable. I hated that they had to make Liz the bad guy in order to excuse jason for his neglect. Jason comes back and they make sure his relationship with his other son takes president and Jake is the one he gets to conveniently brush aside. They send Jake off to art school and sam is supposed to get killed off which means Danny will now live with jason and develop a real father/son bond that he never tried to have with Jake. I just hope when Jake does come back they don't try to paint him as the jealous half/brother who turns evil.

Liz is a great mom. Unlike Sam, she’s teaching Jason to talk to his son and allowing her song who isn’t 18 yet, make the decision of whether or not he wants anything to do with his Dad. Sam on the other hand acting like her annoying mom, chooses to make the decisions for Danny, also a teenager. Sam can learn a thing or 4 about parenting from Liz, she’s very good mom.

I like to refer to Sam as the wife/woman who spent so much time on the other side that in his absence and becoming a mother she overlooks the part she played, while Liz has always seen Jason as is and thus she has a more objective view of him. He's complicated but also very logical in his methodology and approach to life. Liz knows Jake needs that relationship, whereas Sam sees Danté as the father she wants for Danny.

Why are we acting like Elizabeth didn’t spent most of Jake’s life having Jason stay away from Jake and have Lucky be his dad? Why are we also ignoring that Jake was dead for years and by the time he came back Jason himself was presumed dead so he didn’t even know until he got free? And when he did, he spent many times trying to connect and be close to Jake and took the time to get to know Jake even though Jake was having trouble because he already got attached to Drew? People act like Jason was somehow actively not being a parent when he was.

@@CaptainPikeachu We are saying that because he was a neglectful dad. Even Jason admits it. Liz told Jason about the baby being his when she was about 8 months pregnant. Given Jason's choice to live his life the way he did it was the best thing to do. But when sam told Lucky the truth out of spite theat did open the door for Jason to step up. Liz was open to the idea of Jason being in their life. They actually started to plan it. Jason kept moving around, taking care of carly & sonny's needs. Lucky was out of the picture. Jason rarely spent time with Jake. When Jake "died" Jason spent virtually no time with Liz to help her. Jake was about 8 or 9 when he came back. When Jason came back he got busy with carly, sonny and sam. Jason & Liz were engaged to get married at one point ...for like 5 minutes. Then something happened to one of Carly's kids and I believe Jason got cold feet. But when both Jake & Jason came back Jason was in his life for a short time and Liz had to lie to try and keep him in their life for that very brief time. No one's acting like nothing. When Jason had the opportunity to be a real dad to Jake he ALWAYS chose someone else. He let other men do the job he should have done. He's been back for how long?? What has he been doing since he's been back?? Spending his time & energy trying to protect CARLY! Liz is more than willing to let him spend all the time he wants with their son but Jason has actually spent more time trying to reconnect with Danny. Now that Jake is going away to art school Jason has a great excuse for his explain away his neglectful parenting. The producers have always brushed Liz aside when it came to Jason's storylines in favor of sam or carly. They're now going to do that with Jake in favor of Danny & carly & sonny. A story line with Liz & Jason &Jake, Danny would be gold.

Even if they had to sneak and meet though Lucky was under the impression he was his dad and that plot line only lasted LESS than a year. Elizabeth told Jason she wanted them to be a family and they snuck around being together. After Michael got shot Jason made the final decision to never come out as his father and that lucky would pretend to be. That’s where that storyline ended until Jake died. Even before then when Elizabeth ran into Jason with Jake she gave them time to spend together. And then he goes and plays daddy to Michael the whole time.

Again with the she can't handle his lifestyle crap. Liz was/is more than capable of handling Jason's lifestyle. They wouldn't have stayed close over the years that led up to Jake's conception. That was always said about Luz and it was also said that sam was a better fit because she could handle it. Well, where is she now? Busy trying to keep her son away from his dad. The only sad, scary part about Jason's life was how he ridiculously always felt the need to put carly & sonny's safety and interest first. I think the producers owe it to the fans & the characters to finally LET Liz & Jason have that life together they should have had DECADES ago. Their friendship is what made them special. It was pure after they both had devastating things happen to them. Do I have hopes for them? No, because the writers suck and made him totally OOC by having him go back to Sam after what she did to Liz, Jake, Jason, and Cam. She was vile for a year. They ruined Jason for that relationship and after that, he was more inward than ever. He rarely seemed like he was happy. The writers probably won't ever go there. They hate that so many people liked LIason.
