I love your reaction. Carly was born a millionaire; she is the daughter of Simon from Simon & Schuster publishers. So her life wasn’t that bad but it was a bit dysfunctional apparently. She is an amazing songwriter and artist.

Born in 1960, I remember growing up in the 70's and witnessing the women's struggle for equality. I know it sounds stupid but as a young person i felt empowered by listening to Helen Reddy "I am woman" and watching the t.v show "The Bionic Woman". That was the beginning of our dream... to be a valuable, strong human being in a mans world.
