Idk that melo becomes the melo we know if he goes to detroit i know everybody looks at melos numbers and just sees the names on paper and assumes it wouldve been the same thing but that detroit team was successful cause of their defense, all respect to melo I'm not even trying to hate this is just the truth, Melo was an AWFUL defender throughout his career and he wouldve changed the way that team played and they might've force fed him the ball and couldve stunted that team, or larry brown who notoriously didnt like playin younger guys, wouldnt have given him the minutes he wouldve wanted to either way i think it worked out for the best.
