The fabulous pianist, Carmen Cavallaro is featured in the movie "Diamond Horseshoe" from 1945. This movie also featured Betty Grable, Dick Haymes and Phil Silvers. Carmen Cavallaro was known for his fantastic piano technique and poetic style.

Carmen Cavallaro did the piano playing for the 1956 Eddy Duchin Story movie (starring Tyrone Power and Kim Novak). He played in Eddy Duchin's style and was masterful at it.

Carmen Cavallaro was very famous during the big-band years of the 1940's and had his own orchestra. He played piano and led his orchestra in many movies, and he knew many famous stars of Hollywood. Later in the 1950's he played in upscale clubs, hotels with a small trio. From the 1960's thru the rest of his life he played many live concerts in Japan. He was very famous in Japan, and he created special arrangements of well known Japanese folk songs.
