I'm from Teesside Stockton-On-Tees and worked for the Royal Mail around 1993, my delivery round was Norton where Franc Roddams mother Eleanor Roddam lived, she would often invite me for a chat about her son Franc and gave me some postcards related to Roswell (alien) lovely women. I found out years later that Eleanor was living at Nazereth house in Middlesbrough and was visited by Jimmy Nail. Franc actually wrote 21 episodes of Auf Wiedersehen Pet.

I always have liked Germany as a place to visit, I first went to Dusseldorf in 1977, needless to say much time and fun was had in the Altstadt, Koblenz has also been a favourite as well, stay safe everyone and HWTL.

Enjoy these moments. You might even beat Liverpool one day 🤣. Personally I was last in Dusseldorf in 1987, drinking with Tug Wilson all night in Altstadt. Then we, bizarrely, had an ice cream at about 0630 and was on the pan at Dusseldorf airport working at 0930!
