“Carnage at Fensmere Fish Farm: Floodwaters Take Over the Lake!”

After a tough winter last year dealing with fallen trees, blocked streams, and major flooding, we spent months clearing debris, removing tons of sand, and raising the path between the lake and diversion stream in hopes of avoiding the same issues this year. But after a night of relentless rain, I arrived at Fensmere Fish Farm to find water pouring into the lake yet again.
I quickly cleared the spillway, removed boards from the top two lakes to prevent further issues, and spent the rest of the day on a desperate hunt for sandbags-without any luck. With the rain still falling, it looks like it could be a long night ahead.
Flooding is always a challenge here, but this time, despite all our efforts, nature had other plans. Stay tuned to see how we handle this one!

Looks like good water though Mark not too much silt content considering the amount of rain you’ve had. Keep up the great work mate👍
