Further to Jocko's point of changing in the new spares before a trip. Make sure that you do the job with the tools that you will be taking on the trip so you don't end up with spares that you can't fit with what you have on hand!

It works on so many levels and you'll be hard pressed to finish on ur own. Give it a crack fellas 🤘

Been driving aeroplane track for more than ten years , think I drove it after you lot and the logs were dropped in the tracks, did some damage to our cars, forestry will most likely grade it and close it for good this year given how bad it’s looking now as that’s what happened to all the other tracks like this around toolangi over the last 25 years.

Middle of Spring about 3 years ago me and dad went down a local logging track in the otways after a week of solid rain, there was a descent into the track which consisted of wash-aways and sinkholes as well as ruts 3 foot deep, the ascent was almost impossible to walk up let alone drive in our unlocked hilux which was running bald all teraains at the time, we're talking easily 45 degree angles on a track made out of clay as smooth and slick as stewdogga's head after a good oiling. It took us 2 days to travel 600m up two inclines, all of the pulling power relying on our TJM 9500 lbs winch, which essentially pulled 2000kg of dead weight 600m. That was my first time 4wding and dad's first time in 30 years since he sold his series 1 land rover which he drove all over the otways a hundred times over.

My favorite trail is spiders ravine, usually have to winch a minimum of two times it’s a lot of fun. Have even had to run winch in pouring rain. By the way there has been some rumor of y’all filming in the states. Would be awesome for y’all to come out during the next Lonestar Toyota jamboree. Usually held the first weekend of May every year. Keep up the great wheeling. Thanks, Jon Seeman. Out of Austin Tx.

Gees arm south trail at wheeney creek. Busted a cv climbing the rock steps and had to get someone else to winch me up. Will need a winch to go back and tackle it

great videos everyone......the question i have is tyre size for a N80 Hilux. I'm about to purchase new wheels and tyres. Standard is 265/65/17 should I go to 16", 265/75/16 to create a little more tyre wall for more off-road traction. this set-up will include 2" lift kit.

So many tracks down here at Mt Stanley Plantation, one awesome track to conquer would be the Rocky Point Track, among a whole bunch of other crazy tracks here!

The local track I need a winch to do is the Nuriootpa dump tracks and carrara hill in the Barossa. Extremely sloppy and slippery ruts where you always get caught up

I haven't had the pleasure of finding a great local track yet, but with an 80 series now parked in the drive, I can't wait to need a winch😀

Bush lasagna! We have a track here in Canada called Grandma's Cottage. It is a muddy romp through a tight rainforest trail. The doors of my XJ touch trees on either side at one point. Every year we have an event called battle of the X's (Jeep Cherokee are code named XJ) where all the XJs come out and do the hardest tracks. The end of the trail has a steep muddy hill climb out with extreme ruts dug into it. There's one vehicle with us last time that's been turned into a truggy on 40" tires and it was still not able to get out. The battery died on it trying to winch out so we had to set up a snatch block and get a vehicle at the bottom to run his line up and pull him out. Literally every vehicle winced their way out that day, something like 25+ vehicles.

Awesome to see you guys driving some local tracks. Gentle Annie Track in the wet at Bunyip State Forest always calls for the use of my winch! The rutted muddy ascents and technical rock climbs are a doozy...

Sunnyside Lane is certainly a local track in Singleton that claims a lot of winch less vehicles. Could definitely use a winch to pull through its bottomless mud pit.
