You've probably already twigged to this but the radiator inlet and outlets on new radiator are arse about for the 1uz. Bottom hose comes off thermostat housing (right of engine) top hose off the coolant bridge (left of engine) But then again i guess you can overcome it with how you route the hoses.

Scotty can you please ask your boss for a few bucks to invest in a some better microphone equipment (like Al uses). Your camera guy is sometimes too busy pointing the camera elsewhere to pick up on what you're saying clearly. While I am on the subject of pointing the camera elsewhere. I get the need to flog the sponsors products, but at times I feel like I am watching an infomercial rather than you doing car stuff. Lately it feels like we have drifted off car building, and are trying to get too fancy with the videoing. It is most off putting. Unless Dunlop want to sponsor your KT26's, I think that gag has been done to death. Please don't let your channel drift into being an entertainment channel.
@TheNuggetProject Жыл бұрын
Scotty's camera guy here, not sure what you're listening to, but I actually use the same audio system as skid factory (rode wireless go II with lavalier go pro) which run on a wireless system so it doesn't matter which direction i'm pointing the camera, the audio is exactly the same. As for the 'fancy filming' it may not be your taste but the overal feedback is positive, so i'll keep doing it my way, cheers ;)
@DodgyBrothersEngineering Жыл бұрын
@@TheNuggetProject looking closely I can now see a wireless mic hiding under Scotty's beard (not an optimal placement). My laptop has an extremely noisy fan (for a laptop) which I can't do much about without replacing the laptop, but the last few videos I have had to put the volume on 100% to barely hear what is being said (overall video volume still needs to be lifted significantly) and still there are times it is very hard to hear without resorting to headphones. For example just have a listen from 2:30 to 3:00 there are several times when the audio noticeably drops a few high spikes. For example at ~2:50 where Scotty says "a flex fuel adapter" there is clearly an audible difference, from the proceeding words. I don't have 159k subscribers, but every video I make I at least try to equalize the sound. Even when I was editing in Windows Movie Maker. So you have had positive feedback on you going out of your way showing the sponsors products have you? Who from the sponsors? Or are you claiming credit for the video in general? I watch every car fix video that gets made, and I read lots of the comments. I have yet to see any positive praise for showing the sponsors products, in fact I saw a few people having a go at Scotty for over flogging the car he was given to drive (I don't agree in that particular case). I don't have any problem with channel sponsors, look at every Hollywood movie where they flog Apple Macs, but they aren't in your face about it (most of the time). There is nothing wrong with even the occasional mention, but there comes a point where it stop being a car video and turns into an advert for the sponsors. But you do you, if you don't need subscribers that watch every video from start to finish at least once every video, and make several comments every video then I guess the KZbin algorithm means nothing to you. Some people are capable of handling feedback, some are only capable of handling blow sunshine up your butt feedback. Fairly clear which side of the line you fall.
@TheNuggetProject Жыл бұрын
Well there is a big difference between giving feedback and just writing a shopping list of things you don't like about a channel that is supplying free content at least once a week. I do not speak for street machine in any of this, this is me as a sub contractor defending my work, I take on feedback regularly from clients whether it is good or bad and work towards making my content better. I shoot and edit these videos in three days, it can't always be as polished as I'd like it to be but working within tight time constraints I believe and I believe most of the viewers would agree it's good quality. Since you're such a fan on giving feedback on KZbin channels without any positivity i would be happy to give you a few pages on your channel.
@DodgyBrothersEngineering Жыл бұрын
@@TheNuggetProject please do. I have been asking for feedback, I would love some constructive feedback / criticism. I don't know how I can make things better without comments. If you feel you can provide feedback that accomplishes that then you are more than welcome to leave it. I am not afraid of constructive criticism in the slightest. People mentioned they couldn't hear my audio, I took that feedback onboard and since I couldn't lift the volume adequately in Windows Movie Maker (despite trying over and over) I started doing it externally through another program. Whether people want to change is up to them. As I say some people only want to have sunshine blown up their butt, some are interested in making things better. I have suggested that the audio level is too low, you have not indicated any intention of changing that.
@TheNuggetProject Жыл бұрын
