OMG, I almost felt like crying when Sindhu was not in the top five. Even though she was already a winner for me, I really wanted to listen to her classy mellifluous voice in the finals! But I had an intuition there would be some “surprise” element. 😅 I was perhaps more happy than her when they finally selected! What a treat it will be! Practice well, work on your confidence and immerse yourself in the music! You’re already a winner for all of us, just have a blast in the finals ❤️ Still a bit disappointed that Shivanand wasn’t selected but he will be there in spirit along with his sis, and just as talented. Kinda funny/cute Aravind seemed a bit surprised to hear he was selected 😂 but I am so happy to look forward to yet another powerhouse voice in the finals! All great choices and those who weren’t selected also gave excellent performances as well (“not bad” wasn’t a good choice of phrase IMO, but he means well). All the best to ALL OF YOU wonderful musicians! Y’all still have your musical career ahead of you ❤❤🎉 Btw, the “dramatic/scary” background music was kinda cheesy, especially for a classy program like this. Perhaps we could get creative with our own carnatic classical music for light BGM if you still want to have some 😊

Yes they wanted a male contestant. But i was expecting Aishwarya to be in.. I guess her raga transition and kanakku is something that she can work on. Even Arvind has to, for the finals But personally, I will miss Aishwarya, I think she was really friendly in her interviews and interacted informally with the judges, good personality😊
