Eddie Muller's intro to "High Tide" (1947) on TCM Noir Alley 7/9/22

High Tide fell flat, for me. There just wasn't anything distinctive about it. Not dialogue, not mise-en-scene, not acting, not cinematography---so much so I had to quit after 20 minutes. In short, competent but entirely uninteresting.
