thanks were going in April so this is great for info. was it a complementary shuttle to the hotel? and how did you get to the cruise port?

Yes Jess, hotel has a shuttle that runs until midnight, luckily our flight got in shortly before that. We took a taxi to the port, at least we asked for a taxi from the front desk, they got us a nice Suburban..cost a few more bucks, but it was worth it. We looked at Uber, but the Uber prices were running the same as the taxi's at the time.

I stayed at the La Quinta Inn West when I cruised out of Miami it was very nice

Im at every LaQuinta hotel. Our favorite hotel chain from the north to the south!!

I was so excited to see that you all were headed out on the Dream since we're booked for Jan 6 2019! I was even more excited to hear you say La Quinta at the airport since that's also where we'll be staying! Can't wait to follow along and get a good idea of what to expect. This will be my first cruise not leaving from Long Beach, fourth overall, and second with Carnival. I'm just chomping at the bit to go. Thanks for the great vid, I'll be waiting for the next one. Matthew is growing up so fast and Jaime you're looking good! Sharon is lovely as always. See you in the next one!
