Junior Balcony Staterooms: Slightly smaller than Balcony Staterooms, but still feature a queen-size bed, sofa bed, private bathroom, and a balcony.
Cloud 9 Spa Staterooms: Designed for a spa-like experience, featuring spa bathrobes, comfy slippers, Elemis toiletries, and access to thermal suites.
Family Harbor Staterooms: Designed for families, located near the exclusive Family Harbor Lounge, offering breakfast, snacks, and family-friendly entertainment.
Interior Staterooms: Standard cabins without windows, featuring a queen-size bed, sofa bed, and a private bathroom.

I have cruised with Carnival more than a few times, and I would like to know who is booking Excel suites and Havana cabins and why. Given the price and the size of the cabins, what's the benefit of doing this.

@@heathermichael3987 Why cruise if being away from the public is your goal? Seems like interaction with people you don't know and will likely never see again is one of the best reasons for cruising. Maybe it's just me. I guess I'm not a "pay-for-VIP" kind of person. Not knocking it, Its just not my kind of thing.

Some of us like to be on ship and not with people, because when we inform people of what we want we get people like you who want to argue , I work extremely hard , sometimes 20 hours a day , renting a yacht is silly , and to much money for a week , where when cruises have super sales I can get vip reasonable. And you are forgetting many families suffer terrible tragedies, like mine , have gone holidays without loved ones , donating our family time to get others home , my family has given enough and if we want to sit on a cruise and not talk to anyone and sit in peace and silence we have earned it wether you or anyone else likes or not . 🤷‍♀️

The dream is a 15 year old ship and has 30 more sq. ft. per interior stateroom (even more if you get one of those sweet aft porthole rooms!). I'm honestly aghast at how tiny and miserably cramped the interior staterooms are on the excel class ships. All because they wanted to put in more bars smh. I could see if these were single occupancy rooms like the ones on RC, but putting two people in 158 sq. ft.? Yuck. I'll suffer through this first trip, but I think I'll keep to the older ships in the future.

You’re right. Nowadays, all companies are doing the same, and on new ships, the cabins are getting smaller and smaller. I often find myself more comfortable on older ships.

We just got off the Celebration in December. We loved it, but the cabins are a little tight. Much smaller than Sunrise or Magic. Next year we are cruising on Celebration and booked two balcony cabins for two adults & 2 children rather than one.
