That was amazing...I don't know if I ever told you that when my husband graduated from college in 1961 he joined the Peace Corps and spent 2 years in India. He would have LOVED your cooking adventure. When we cruised he enjoyed conversing in Hindi with the staff because he was still fluent in the language even 50 years later. They were always shocked to meet an elderly Black man who spoke their language. Thanks as always for sharing.

It was almost 3 hours. We really enjoyed it. So you cook and sample and then have a full meal afterward! I highly recommend it

That looked like a great class! I love to cook so this would be right up my alley. As far as accessibility, will they provide chairs to sit down and cook? You stated it was about 3 hrs long (I'm assuming half the time was spent in the class, and maybe the rest of the time was spent eating the meal), so I'm a bit concerned about having to stand for even an hour long. I can certainly stand for a little while but I would be concerned about not being able to sit down for so long. Can you ask Carnival about their policy when it comes to accessibility for this class? The food looked great! The fact that they also emailed the recipes to you was fantastic. And the chef and the sous chefs seemed to really help out with instruction. The price is absolutely phenomenal and I wouldn't even mind paying double for this type of event (since I travel solo). Thank you for sharing this video. As I get closer to my first cruise, I've found myself looking at other cruise ship videos because I want to keep a sense of self-exploration of my first cruise intact. There's no better way to do that than to look at OTHER cruise lines. I hope I like to cruise because there are so many cruise lines and not enough time!! *PS - I think we have a great topic of discussion for the Tuesday night chat: How hilarious it was to watch Ron help at the beginning of the class, but then slowly start to let you do all of the cooking! First the bubble party at the resort and now the cooking class? His "Baby.... go ahead and do that so I can film everything" is starting to be his "Uh-uhn... not today!" excuse! Lol. So glad y'all had fun because you're a great couple!!

Thanks for sharing MH Family! I've done Carnival's Chefs Table, but not the Carnival Kitchen. This is the second vlog I've seen and I think I enjoy eating way more than cooking. I can definitely tell that it is a great experience that someone who enjoys cooking and experimenting in the kitchen would really enjoy. And then finish with a served sit down meal. Definitely a cool experience. So glad they let you record so we could have your take on the experience. And you and Ron really enjoyed that time together, very evident in the video. Stay Blessed.

You definitely should. This is only available on Carnival Panorama, Mardi Gras, Carnival Jubilee, and Carnival Celebration. Hopefully they expand to other ships soon.
