Was great to meet you on the Mardi Gras November 6-13! We enjoyed the cruise. The upsetting part we’re those who wouldn’t follow the mask rule. We saw it a lot. Hope to see you on another cruise sometime!

Great video! That isn't the Carnival Magic by the way. That is a Conquest class cruise ship, and I would guess that is it the Carnival Liberty since she was not sailing yet and is set to sail from Port Canaveral, although it is still possible for it to be the Freedom, Valor, and Glory.

Good on you!! The cruise director even told them how to sip and wear the mask. Some people think if they have a drink they can leave the mask off enirely, look at the sports venues!! I am glad yu are rule followers

Hi Jay and Dee, this is Aris. You are so right! We have been lucky on our last two cruises, the Miracle and the Pride that 95% of the passengers followed the rules. We saw a few using a drink to linger without a mask, but very few. I hope rules are followed on the Legend on Sunday. Great seeing you back! God bless.

I agree with you guys, the rules are there you board the ship you agree to follow said rules, no you don't have to like them but you have to follow them. 2nd im out of Port canaveral in October when we surprise our 16 year old with a cruise on the Disney wish. I will have to post pictures on the Facebook group. He has no idea. Mom almost slipped a few times telling him.

I was on MG in October and my friend’s 9 year old had to tell a man on the elevator to put on his mask. Kiddo said it and pointed to the sign. It’s amazing how a kid can follow and understand the rules better than an adult.

What is the cost of the parking versus at the port?

$15 per day for port parking, so $105 for a 7-day cruise, versus $85 for 7 days of parking with free shuttle from GoPort. If you're looking for speed, I'd say park at the port, but if you're looking to save a few bucks, GoPort has been good for us thus far!! :P

I recently learned that the couch seat flips upside down to form a single bed in some cabins. Looks like that style in your cove balcony 👍🏻(the more you know 🌈🌟)

And the seat under the vanity has a lid that can be removed for storage and flipped over to be used as a tray for room service or to bring it stuff back from the buffet or JavaBlue Cafe, where they have breakfast sandwiches and grab n go stuff the rest of the day

There was an announcement from an unseen Fun Squad member, then a separate personal face-to-face announcement from Mike Pack himself, as well as a Fun Squad member running around with a backpack full of masks, but they definitely weren't telling folks to leave by any means if they chose to continue maskless... meh... :P

With 20/20 hind sight I wish I would have filmed the cabin that we had as it was big and beautiful. The FAC cabins on the Mardi Gras are roomy as Mom was able to turn her scooter around in it plus, I had a dog crate for Glenna that tucked away under the vanity without blocking anything. Plus the balcony had two chairs and a table (all side by side) on the right side and a potty box on the left with an automated door for us.

Oooh, that's super narrow at the end of the bed 😳 Only other cabin I've seen that's worse is the Oceanview cabin the Bliss had open for touring during the inaugurals. You really had to squeeze along the wall in that cabin.

The Mardi Gras was the week before the Escape, during the second week of their B2B2B on Royal/Carnival/NCL. Editing Jay is now just getting to the MG series. He is not a machine. Well maybe late at night, that's why Dee wakes up with a smile. After the MG series, the Escape videos will come out

I 100% agree about the masks. We were on the Mardi Gras last week and I saw several people without masks. I always wonder how they feel when they hear the announcements over and over about certain areas of the ship that are "mask required" areas and there they sit without one. If you don't like it - don't go on this ship! It's not all about YOU and about YOUR personal comfort people!

No time frame as of yet. I believe the mask protocol is still officially on through March 2022, and they would renew as needed.

My wife and I laughed with the mask comment. This is why we are going on NCL. Not JUST because they require vaccine, but the not knowing if the others are vaccinated and not wearing their mask like you saw in the show. We do say, to each there own, but not when in close quarters. You guys are awesome!

So glad to see you again! Two things: I totally agree with you about following the rules regarding mask wearing. You agree to this when you sign your cruise contract. On a recent Panorama cruise, I was impressed with the compliance in masked venues, so it's disappointing to hear how noncompliant it was on Mardi Gras. Second, the Rock Revolution show on Panorama was MUCH different from what you filmed on Mardi Gras, which surprised me. I thought it would be the same on all ships with that show.
