That's going to be an interesting sight to see these old Princess ships be converted into Carnival ships. As for names, make it Carnival Adventure and Carnival Star (giving the Pacific Encounter her old name back).

Carnival needs to do again a 8 day cruise to colon Panama & Limon Costa Rica ( round trip ) year round , like they did back in 2007 or so. Out of Florida 😊

@@CruisingIsLife , I know , I did a round trip on Carnival Liberty September 2007 to Cozumel , Limon Costa Rica & colon Panama - 8 days round trip. ( they did this for couple years )

Margaritaville at Sea picked up an old ship renamed to Islander. Wouldn't doubt they'll pick up a 3rd.

Ok, so I asked this question on a instagram post. What are your theories about what will happen to the Splendor and Luminosa? I know you said they would stay down under but I could see the Luminosa moving to the West coast with the Splendor and having the Splendor replace the Radiance on 3/4 out of Long Beach. Maybe Bring the Radiance to Florida, and have Sunrise and Radiance do 3/4 out of Miami and PCV. Obviously, it wouldn't happen but I love trying to hypothesize these things.

I like that idea a lot, I actually thought the same thing, but from what I was told there will be no effect to Luminosa and Splendor they will continue as normal. They're planning to operate all 4 in Australia.

I’m so mad right now. What the hell is carnival doing. I thought carnival wanted to compete with Royal Caribbean?! But clearly not… Royal Caribbean is a very nice expensive cruise line. Like what the frick carnival. You think these crappy ships you are adding to your fleet with help. Absolutely not. What carnival should be doing is adding lots of more excel class. Just like Royal has 6 oasis class also one more coming. Like carnival is not stepping up there gang. They are just making it worse. I just want to say dont sail with carnival. Sail with Royal Caribbean as there ships are so nice. Especially icon class. Like if carnival wants to be better then Royal like add more excel. And start planning a really big ship that’s bigger then icon to compete.

From what ive been hearing from Carnival, trust the process because they will be competing very soon. These transferred ships are all part of a plan to better themselves financially, and get a stronger hold on their secondary markets. Thats why ships like these and Luminosa will never see their major markets like FL and TX. Financially speaking its a great move, especially with their growing demand down there.
