Carnival Vista Sea Day: Brunch, Mongolian Wok, WaterWorks | Cruising Pregnant with a Toddler

Great video! Your family is beautiful, I’m taking my daughter and 14 month old granddaughter in November and don’t have a clue what she is allowed to do except water works.

Thank you so much! We’ve cruised with Madison at 14 months before. At this age, she just loved to roam around, climb on the structures at mini golf, Dr. Seuss Storyville, Dr. Seuss Parade, watch music performances, eat, etc. They also have something called “Turtle Trek” and “Zumbini” which are super cute and fun for littles so look for them on the HUB app schedule. Camp Ocean has a few parent/tot stay and play times available on sea days too. Carnival Vista has a playground, but unfortunately it’s been closed for months! For WaterWorks, just so you know, Carnival is strict about non-potty trained littles going in any of their water areas. They will not allow swim diapers either. One suggestion we always say is to bring along a small or large collapsible basket and let them play in that on deck with some water toys. That looks like a great time! I just got off the Carnival Mardi Gras with my almost 2 year old and the ship was so crowded, it was a bit stressful. What time of the year do you recommend going? Also, I don’t think they had much for toddlers to do. Are there any ships that have more for toddlers ?

Thank you! 🤗 We haven’t been on MG, but I can imagine the size would make it a tad overwhelming. As for time of year, it depends on where you’re going. Check the historical weather for specific ports to see what the weather and humidity are like. For toddlers, there’s Dr. Seuss Bookville, WaterWorks, Arcade (even if you don’t actually spend money), live music, etc. We’re actually working on a toddler entertainment video in the coming months! 😃
