@@mateuszszwarc8100 …and way less embarrassing than discovering Carnivore in 2021 at the ripe old age of 58. In 1984 I was into completely different music on the left coast la la land.

One time at L’Amour Peter had cow organs on his spikes, threw them out into the audience, my bud slipped on a heart and almost busted his ass. I’m good friends with Adam (Norms Music, Kings Hway, Brooklyn) worked on Pete’s and the rest of the bands equipment, met Pete at his wedding, had to be ‘95/‘96, lived at L’Amour in the mid/late 80s.

How did this never end up on any recordings? This is a great song! Also, not trying to start anything, but its seems like Carnivore beat Gwar to the whole... stage costume theatrics that they would become pretty (in)famous for.

That's a short scale Alembic, so its smaller than a normal scale bass. But yes, standing almost 6'8" he dwarfed pretty much everything.

@RobertGraham5 жыл бұрын
He did actually use a "Plectrum" at this point. They were stainless steel washers. He kept them taped to his mic stand. Peter switched off between finger style, and pick style. This is my favorite incarnation of Carnivore. I was at this show and a year later I was forming Primal Scream with Keith.

Sounds like this is early version of Thermonuclear Warrior with different lyrics. Riffs and arrangement ideas are there but still quite far from the final song.
