I started carnivore and on my third day I woke up at 4am sick and throwing up. I don't know if it was specifically from carnivore though. I really think I may have gotten a bad steak that possibly was left out of the fridge at the store or something. It was grass-fed and both my husband and I ate a steak out of the same pack and he didn't get sick but I kept telling him my steak tasted kind of weird compared to the day before. It may have been a total coincidence...maybe I caught a 24hr bug or something. I'm back on it and am very excited about where this will go. I just hit 1 year of keto on Feb 12th and then started carnivore the next day. I've lost 85lb and can't wait to get to my goal...I still have about 60-70 lbs to go.😊

there is literally no food waste at our house anymore. I eat every single thing i buy. Before there was alot of dry bread and moldy forgotten produce and half used boxes of pasta and rice etc everywhere in the cupboards. pretty much cook alot every 2-3 days and just warm it up. so wayyyy less dirty dishes also!

My main negative is that strict carnivore has made me aware of the numerous problems of plant foods and plant-based supplements. I'll add something back in and after a while I'll regret it. I did that with beet powder for nitric oxide production, but it's high in oxalates and I could feel it in my joints. I've finally become convinced that I need to remain strict.

Laura... THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video! You and your husband look so amazing and it is inspiring for me to see the change in both of you on the carnivore protocol... I have been trying and failing to keep to carnivore since October of 2018... My food addiction has kept winning, but I keep on trying and I think I am getting better... I really want to see the change in my own body that the two of you have seen. I was doing one meal a day... only one rib-eye steak per day for a month but saw no weight loss so it was very disheartening since I am as obese as you were in your "before" photo. Maybe it is because of my age... nearly 75 now and my dwarfism... ????? I have so many of the same health concerns... pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, skin tags, hair loss, obesity, joint pain, no energy... Little by little I am gaining more energy though... My biggest downfall is that after a day of carnivore I break down and have some frozen mixed berries... that is enough to keep me from succeeding.

Thank You for taking the time to spread your good experiences. My big question that you answered is on constipation. I have been on an intermittent / Keto / vegie (very little meat) fasting diet for about 2 years and have had great results, lost 45LBs and I am much healthier. However, I have been fighting constipation. My solution, that I hate doing, but I feel that I have no choice is to take 3 Dulcolax every 6th or 7th day. When I take it, I can't leave the house the next day. I am afraid to be away from porcelain. You have convinced me. After I finish the current food in my fridge, I am going to give this a try. Thanks again for sharing.
