It's hard when we don't see results right away! Great job sticking with it though, you made it! Quick and easy alfredo sauce, it's a 1:1:1 recipe: 1 stick of butter 1 cup grated parmesan 1 c heavy cream We've been using it about 10 years now, always good!

Thanks for the recipe. I guesstimate and last time I made some with mozzarella it was a grainy greasy mess. My variation is I marinate shrimp peel ON , then put them on the grill. Leftovers I sauté kielbasa that I tear into small chunks instead of slices. (I believe it makes a difference !) While it’s cooking I peel the leftover shrimp then toss them in and start building my sauce, Lots of different flavors and textures and as Laura says it doesn’t take much to feel stuffed.

Great content Laura! I’ve watched all your videos, and this format is very helpful as you qualify a new groove for your way of eating. I had lost 119lbs ( 2 years ago) with combinations of first keto, then IF, finally transitioning to carnivore/OMAD. After gaining back 20ish this past year I too am adapting a few tweaks to my personal habits, and feel confident I will lose the extra “pandemic pounds”, and redefine my goal weight again. Your work is inspiring. Wishing you, and family continued health and happiness. Thanks for all you do!

I like what I'm seeing regarding the meal plan you have, I'm just about to start the Carnivore lifestyle and I can't wait to see what improvements I make to my health and conditioning. Great to see you have your children learning Jiu Jitsu, it's a skill for life, try not to let them give up when the going gets tuff. My two daughters have trained for a little over 5 years now and they're becoming little weapons. The eldest is a Green Belt, the youngest a Yellow Belt. The eldest regularly submits adult male Blue Belts, so I'm comfortable that our money has been well invested. Keep on keeping on.

I am SO, SO, SO happy I found this way of eating! Simply put, life changing! My one challenge is the shift I work. I work nights, and I have worked that shift for over 25 years. I try to keep my schedule as consistent as possible. I find I eat my "lunch" between 1-3am. So I guess it is unintentional fasting. My days off get out of sync, as does my eating. Any advice for shift workers? It's really a topic that is left out because the majority is day time workers. Thank you for such great videos! I feel like I have hit the jackpot because you have done this trial and error and I get all the benefits! You are beautiful and explain everything very well! Many blessings to you and your family!

Good quality beef, allowing the steak to get to room temperature, letting the steak sear properly on each side, using good quality butter and finally allowing the steak to sit for roughly 10 minutes after cooking are the keys for a juicy steak.

I love those parmesan cheese folios! Try putting them in the microwave (leave the divider paper under it) and cook it for about a 1-1.5 minutes until it crisps up. Tear it up into chips and you can use it to scoop up some meat or just eat as a side dish like they were chips. I also eat twice a day and it works for me. Just make sure you are eating enough. I think you need to eat a little more than just dividing what you used to eat into 2 meals. I'm glad you have support at home. I'm alone in a sea of donuts, chips, french fries, and pasta over here. Love your videos!

I've been throwing in some longer fasts lately, doing a 72 hour every other weekend. I still do OMAD the rest of the time but it feels like the extended fasting resets my endogenous portion control sensors. I am eating way less in my OMAD meals than I used to. I used to pack away a pound and a half to two pounds but now I top out at one pound. (For reference, I'm not petite. I'm 5'10 and 150 female and 59.)

On Friday night I saw your video with Dr. Ken Berry. I decided right then and there that I would begin this carnivore program. I have done really well! It has been very very easy! From Friday evening until this morning (4/16/21) I lost 7.6 lbs. I think that is a really good start and on my way to losing a very large amount of weight. I am pretty much just drinking water all day and a cup of coffee with heavy cream in the morning. I am having two issues though. I have a very pinpoint precise headache on the left side of my head. Not too bad but it is there. Also I am very bound up. That can not be good for an entire week. This is an area that I have no trouble. Any thoughts how to remedy these issues? Thank you so much. I appreciate your very encouraging videos!

So, the body needs at least 4500 mg of potassium , for heart elasticity. Along with magnisium, calcium and zinc. And this is just a small example of some of the nutrients the body needs in order to have fully functional organs. Here’s the question, if you’re feeding the body only meat, does that mean the body doesn’t require these nutrients anymore? How does that work?

Some people claim you need less of certain nutrients on a carnivore diet. Some people say nutrient needs do change, but that if you're going to eat carnivore you also need to do "nose to tail" in order to get everything you need. Meaning bone broth, fish with the skin, fish eggs, organs, etc along with drinking mineral water. Admittedly I'm not sure what to believe.

Great 👍 I find that 2 smalls definitely keeps my cortisol lower and less stressed. Which also means I'm not over stuffing or hungry later. So I do like like the 2 meals or 2mad.. at 1 and 4 and then I'm done coupled w some fasting days has really been where I am happiest. And The scale can still be a welcomed friend lol... Love this new vlog series...keepem.. coming loved watching The family cooks together bits ❤

Less and less inflammation in your face every time I see you! Eyes looking vivid, the way you speak, you can tell by your tone, thought process is even. No peaks and troughs. Speaking of tone, SKIN tone is amazing haha. Thanks for sharing! I’m doing great on carnivore! My only hang up still is just a bit of almond butter still :( which will phase out I just know. Wanting it less and less. Which is good. Plant fats pretty much all omega 6....👎🏼
