Good job! I started carnivore a month ago for healing more than weight loss.Needed to lose some though. Great results. More energy, no aches and pains, no stomach or gut issues, less pain from a bad case of diverticulitis over 4 years ago,eye floaters almost gone,anxiety gone,allergies gone. Amazing. The price of meat is high,but the money I save in not buying sodas,junk food and vegetables makes up for it. Fatty meat,eggs,seafood and real butter heals many things that I didn't expect.

Diverticulitis is freaking horrible. I get three or four flare ups every year. The carnivore diet work but it is so hard to stick to during the summer months.

I've been carnivore for 2 months now. Down just under 30 pounds. As for the cost of meat, if you are honest about how much you spend on food, including all snacks, coffees, carnivore does work out cheaper. As for me, I shop the grocery store sales and stock up and freeze things as needed. I buy whole sub primal cuts of beef and pork (strip loin, rib eye, chuck roll) and butcher my own steaks and pork chops. That works out to half price of grocery store retail. I also eat pork (pork chops, ham, bacon), chicken (I buy the costco pre cooked whole chickens), eggs. I currently don't buy any of organic, grass fed beef, or pasture chickens and eggs. Granted the organic grass feed stuff is better than the grocery store, but even the standard grocery store meat is infinitely better for you from the rest of the sugar laden highly processed foods that are at the grocery store. Dr. Ken Berry said one can do the carnivore diet eating all beef hot dogs and bologna. So it doesn't have to be expensive. Congrats on your continued weight loss success. One thing I do is weigh myself once per week right after getting out of bed and in my boxers. This provides consistency in your weight loss measurements. As you pointed out body weight can fluctuate daily.

Looking good man. I am sorry you are in pain from your accident. I had a back/neck injury from an accident, it was hard and depressing as the months wear on. I started physiotherapy about 1 month after, and through a combination of IMS needles, cupping, shockwave therapy I was able to be back to almost normal in 11 months. I hope you have a treatment option to help you. You do have age on your side though, I hope you heal fully and quickly. Keep that positive mindset and that will be huge in your recovery. I wish you the best Sir.

Bro "only 8 pounds in 6 weeks"... you realize that's still extremely fast, right? I'm in bodybuilding and I weigh 220 right now and 8 pounds in 6 weeks is insane. that's almost 2 pounds a week of just fat being shed. that's insanity. make sure you are eating healthy foods to make up for obvious deficiencies due to your calorie restrictions, don't develop an eating disorder on us! its hard but worth it. you look great!

Definitely a healthy weight loss. 2 to 3 pounds a week is pretty damn good.

Try jump starting your metabolism with the 3 day sardine fast. You will have to look it up on youtube as there are a few good doctors that are MD's that do it as well. I use the sardines in Louisiana Hot Sauce, but any kind works. Sardines have a different fat and it will get your body going again that is stalled or plateaued. Good luck with your diet adn if you feel like you have lost enough, then just go on the maintenance diet and keep your self where you want. You are looking good.

As far as the eating and nausea: smoothies and soup always help me when I don’t want anything else in my belly! You have to remember that your body needs nutrients to be able to heal itself and even remain in homeostasis. Also a bit of cannabis can always help with the appetite ;-) Here’s a joke for when I become a famous stand-up comedian, don’t steal it and I hope it makes somebody laugh : I started a new diet called going mosquito. I only eat what I can suck through a straw.😂

When I get to lower weights I’ve had back and neck issues pop up. I read an article that the body has to adjust to physical changes yes even lighter weight and accidents and injuries aggravate this process even further. Best advice I have for whatever it is worth is take the time to let it heal! If it hurts stop rest. If other movements don’t hurt keep moving. If cold and ice don’t help and heat does use heat to help relieve symptoms and vice versa if heat doesn’t help and cold does use cold gotta listen to your body and if something hurts stop! Let it heal. My back pain took over a year to heal. It was when I set limitations and stuck to them and used other means to keep moving and doing my requirements throughout the day that I started feeling better. Again for whatever it’s worth.
@TheDolanar29 күн бұрын
Don’t outright ignore your doctor. At some point the diet has to turn into a lifestyle. No one can just eat meat forever. Some folks here are recommending working out, which is a good idea, BUT with the direction of your doctor. You have the discipline but another change will need to come. What that is for you I don’t know but don’t think this is the only way. You got this man.
