I agree 💯 actually I didn't think it was bad movie at all tbh because the concept was different unlike anything I had seen before and if you think about there is proof that many marine life has been undiscovered and the what if a jellyfish was this size and it's egg was taken out the water so when it hatched hungry instead of eating stuff in the ocean it's eats whatever is near it's egg and now wants flesh and if you study Abit about jellyfish you'll find out how dangerous their tentacles are in the small size they are so if they where huge some of this may be possible and that's kinda creepy which is why I liked the movie I mean it's not amazing but I'd say it wasn't bad and Jamie Kennedy as a cop added some humor to it imo

**SPOILER ALERT** Although this movie is obviously fiction and all, they actually managed to get a lot of the jellyfish scientifically correct! The “strings” that came up out of the sand are what i assume to be the Jellyfish’ Nematocysts. Which are usually these small harpoon like organs on the tentacles which fire out venom irl. Another thing i are the bioluminescent tentacles which jellyfish use to attract prey. Props on them for that at least lol Keep up the great work guys, I look forward to it everyday :)

The physics doesn’t make sense. One doesn’t simply get pulled through sand like it’s a fluid - it’s too dense, and our bodies would struggle to displace it. It is possible to jostle the sand to able to move through sand easier. (Air-ration / rapid vibrations will work).

The concept for the sand monster or the giant Jelly fish. I actually really like. Although i kinda wished they kept the giant tentacles out and just have the very small ones that grabbed you. but overall the concept is really nice.
