Carnosaurs are an actual real life thing. It's the family to which Allosauruses belong, including the massive Giganotosaurus, larger than a T-Rex. (not to be confused with Gigantosaurus, which was a sauropod herbivore, like diplodocus). Obviously these guys are just using it as a generic name for a scary carnivorous killer though.

KnoFear I think part of Jurassic World 2 was in Nevada. X_x

I honestly liked this movie, the dark atmosphere and that downer ending just made it feel unique. Too bad the same can't be said for the sequels (2 is salvagable for being Aliens but with dinosaurs and 3 for just being cheesy)

Gigantis it is kind unique looking but the lady guving birth to a dinosaur freaks me the fuck out

Gigantis The 3rd movie has terrible editing refusing to show the monsters. It's a embarrassment that shouldn't have been made

Oh, man, this brings back memories! When I was a kid, I made my mom rent this and watch it with me... Watching her reactions to its awfulness was more entertaining than the movie itself... so much so that I repeated that when the next two in the series came out. Glad to see the movie get recognition here!

Ah yes, "Carnosour". I recall seeing the VHS box at local video store as a kid, but I never rented it. I wound up catching the ending to this movie on SyFy once (or twice), and boy was that ending depressing. Which is kinda odd since the rest of this movie looks like a fun "B-Movie" style horror/sci-fi movie. I will say while the gore effects, for the most part, were really good, some of the "Carnosaur" (I know they were called "Dinosaurs", but got to use that title to the fullest) were hit and miss. Great episode.

I remember seeing the ads for this back when Jurassic Park was coming out. My friends and I had a good laugh at how ridiculous it looked as it was the first time any of us had ever heard of a mockbuster.
