Carnot Theorem

The Carnot Theorem states that the efficiency of any reversible heat engine operating between a pair of temperatures is the same. It depends only on the two temperatures, and not on the type of heat engine, or the substances involved.

Dear prof, in the book "FUNDAMENTALS OF PHYSICS TENTH EDITION" by Halliday & Resnick it was mentioned that "the efficiency of an ideal Stirling engine(reversible) is lower than that of a Carnot engine operating between the same two temperatures". Now I've found this in contrary to the Carnot's theorem. Can you please make this clear? I'm left in a state of confusion! TIA
