Thanks for the fight! Small tip, if you angle your camera when tail slamming, you can hit targets that are to the side of you. Doing that in the direction I was running likely would have sniped a couple slams on at least the tip of my tail! Or doing it toward me right as I was running in would likely have knocked me flat in at least one instance!

I enjoyed this video, I like how despite this game being a game where you literally play as a dinosaur it has so many parallels to other survival games I play such as Dayz. The whole logging out while your friend looks for food and the excitement and adrenaline you get from winning a close fight.

Hey Metta, if you want to run away as a carno, charge in that direction. Charging increases your movement speed by a little bit that would be enough to escape the dilo. (And pick a speed mutation)

I know, that's part of why my stamina was drained so quickly. Charging away uses it up faster for just a little bit more speed (I believe the charge puts you at 55kph)

Man Carno gameplay looks still like a lot of fun tbh, but it does have its moments of just running and right clicking. I also think maybe it would be a fun idea to allow you to release the charge manually, since I see often enough that it hits the first thing it hits, which sometimes is the tail instead of the more potent body for instance.

I just bought The Isle two days ago and I'm really enjoying it. I've played a lot of Path of Titans before and I enjoy that too a lot. I'm having some issues in the Isle though, hit detection and desync seems to be really bad and I can never tell if I'm landing my hits or not. Also I always seem to die in like 2 hits. Mostly been playing Dilophosaur thus far as it seems the most interesting to me. Getting to adult hasn't been any issue, but actually Killing anything has been very hard.

The isle definitely has some pretty hefty latency issues. Sometimes hits register that shouldn't, and other times hits that should have simply don't.

At my screen I must have dodged him by a whole dinosaur length, he was so far away from me that you could have put a second Dilophosaur in between us and still has room to spare. Somehow though he still hit me and I died.

At the end when that cera swam you can drop down that waterfall by carefully going down the rocks. You’d of been round the other side with no way for him to escape. Learn how to do it and you can time it so its pretty quick getting over

Hi,does in your opinion Raptor should get a little bit get buffed? I mean Raptor is weak if you are solo omni you cant outrun a freaking dilo like how is this possible. It should have more bite force speed and Weight

@@demon2829 yes but not in those categories. Increased blood pool, yes. Increased bleed damage on rend pounce, yes. Otherwise they're not bad. They just suffer the most from desync and lag as even one desync hit can mean the end of the fight

You should use a compressor and de-esser, it'll take that tinny quality away from your voice. I also recommend an Equalizer for the unbalanced mic-to-game volume.

I've tried to use both, but haven't had much luck with using them successfully thus far. I don't have a lot of audio-mixing experience, most everything I do regarding editing and such is just me flying by the seat of my pants haha. I'll keep working on it and trying to figure it out!

I'm honestly wondering why the dev hasn't rebalanced hunger drain yet. The game is SO low-pop, he vast majority of deaths are either outright due to starvation, or directly caused by players taking fights out of desperation for food.

@@stefankroon4615 Everything in the game changes dramatically. But those changes allow for information gained that will help with balance in the future. The isle is intended to be hardcore survival, where starvation is a very real threat if you're not managing it carefully. That's why things like AI levels are increased and decreased often. It allows the devs to see how AI numbers affect overall survivability for carnivore players and how to adjust it to meet their vision for the game.
