I love this whole scene. I love everything where she and Henry come to visit him. It's clear that she's the one thing tethering him to the communities at this point, after the intervening years. And she still cares about him a lot. Going out periodically to make sure he's okay, keeping up with what he's been up to, even his personal care. This season, 10, we are seeing a reversal of sorts. In the wake of Henry's death and her separation from Ezekiel, Carol is not feeling 100%. And Daryl has been all over this season looking after her, trying to take care of her in the same way. It's very sweet.

@@Hello.___. well I don't know if you saw yesterday's episode, but spoiler just in case you haven't. But at the very least, Daryl said that there's nothing like that between him and Connie, "not at all." I would be totally fine with Carol and Daryl just remaining friends as long as they're both still single, so that made me happy. But like you, I would really like for them to eventually get together. The problem is, has there ever given once been a successful, lasting relationship that didn't end in tragedy? I fear them getting together as much as I want it, because I'm sure that something bad will happen immediately afterward.

@@Numb3r3dDays - Given all that Daryl has grown, as a person, why is he so awkward with people, seems especially with women? I know his history of parental abuse, and arguably even his relationship with his big brother Merle was abusive as well, but still you would think he would've come out of his shell a bit more than what he has.

@@thecowboy9698 I don't know that I would classify his interactions with people as awkward, anymore. I mean, he definitely prefers to be around the people that he already knows well, but I don't think he's had any trouble interacting with anyone in a reasonable fashion since the time jump, at the very least. I mean, all I did was work in customer service for many years, and I can't really stand to be around people. I imagine it would be much worse if I had actually had the childhood that he did.

@@britny_rojas_75 That's not the scar Mr. Mayhem is talking about. The one going down over his left eye. What you linked was him being grazed by a bullet on the side of his forehead, above his left eye. And going back into his hair line. Completely different injury/scar.
