At 2 years old, I would wake up late at night in time to watch The #CarolBurnett Show, and everyone in my family wondered how I got to know the time of the day and the day in the week that it aired. It’s still a mystery how her show got to program by body clock to tune in on a weekly basis, and how I got to love her show so much at an age when I was yet to speak coherently, let alone a understand a foreign language like English. She is one of the best to happen on TV!

Carol was one of my first introductions to comedy and I couldn’t get enough. She’s such and amazing talent and incredibly funny. Her show was so hilarious and one of the things I looked forward to the most when I was younger. I so looked forward to her show and laughed my ass off when her, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman & Vicki Lawrence did their thing every week. I loved all of it and when she did Eunice and Vicki did Mama, it was the best. Fuck the boys club, thank goodness for women like Carol, Vicki, and Lily Tomlin. These smart funny women proved that women are funny and can do comedy just as brilliantly as men and they brought me some of the best childhood memories ever! I’ll love Carol as long as I live.
