I like Carol's mannerisms and the way she talks. Demure and introverted, she seems to be a very kind soul.

My father recognized Andy as we walked through the Broadway district one night. We stopped to chat with him, and Andy was just this kooky character with a kooky language. He never broke character and never admitted to being Andy. It was genius.

Kaufman....blech...... He is a case of the Emperor's New Clothes. And NO, it’s not because I didn’t get it, or that he was so ahead of his time. He was narcissistic and mean-spirited. If you watch the movie Man On the Moon, you see many times his thing was an experiment to see how stupid the audience was and just how much abuse he could subject them to before they left. He felt that sitcoms were the lowest form of humor, but that’s where he excelled, when lines were written for him and he had a GREAT supporting cast. When you really think about Taxi, he was the least (or 2nd least) talented in the cast. He because famous from Taxi and went on to TV specials and cont stand-up. Ppl said how great he was in those mediums, but……no….he wasn’t. Ppl didn’t want to say he was crap because they’d be put down as “not getting it”. Actually, those who said he was crap were the only ones who got it.
