@Mike Studmuffin , from wikipedia: After seven years with the show, Richter departed from Late Night after the show on May 26, 2000. He later said of the decision, "After seven years of being on the show, I got itchy. I have a philosophy that if you enjoy good fortune, rather than sit there and say, 'Oh, that's fine, this amount is good enough for me,' you should try and push it. You should see how much you can stretch your good fortune. And I was curious."
@ZhangtheGreat4 жыл бұрын
@Mike Studmuffin No, he did leave. Andy wanted to springboard into an acting career, but unfortunately, that never worked out for him. Andy was originally hired because NBC didn't want Conan to just jump in solo (since he'd only been a writer and never had a role as magnified as this).

I've never heard that high-pitched nervous laugh from him before. Conan is amazing- glad he made it.

Remember seeing this all those years ago, couldn't sleep and was flicking through tv channels and came across Connan right at " ive been in show business for 45 seconds" been watching ever since. Thank you!

You can see how nervous he is at first and then he gets more and more confident. He was literally bouncing at first. 25 years on we have the Conan that exists today. What a journey!

yes, he worked hard and overcome his problems ,and with his perseverance ,he got high level of confidence. he is smart at talking too ,so that helped him a lot i can notice.

A bit of powdered confidence perhaps ;) could just be a nervous thing ofc, but the nose rub/mouth ticks could be interpreted as a result of that. Couldn't care less, but hey.. A LOT OF PRESSURE.
