I been listening to this song on repeat as I had to deal with working for my landlord today with yard work. This song is STILL as beautiful as any other year I hear it and I love the tempo of how fast it is as this feels like a Christmas song that is MEANT to be a more fast song over a slow one. Beautiful, haunting, yet alluring like the night sky on Christmas Eve itself. Full of wonder, hope, mystery, a bit of a Christmas type of haunting that you'd feel a bit on guard as you wander the night, but mostly still heartfelt and joyful enough that you feel at peace hearing it. It's an odd feeling to describe for me, foreboding and peaceful is a strange mix for sure, but this song does it in a way that leaves me willing to brave the dark to find the lights that shine within the mysterious and alluring blackened veil of the night sky.
