What an amazing and beautiful woman she is . Gracious, elegant , so very talented and gifted woman . I love her songs , I would need to listen to them all to try work out my favourite . What an amazing artist she is too . A very articulate woman and grateful for her success and amazing life . To know she’s fulfilled and happy in life where she is at this stage is wonderful . 1/3 of the way into her book and can’t put it down!!!! It is a tremendous read that one will find so interesting as well as informative to a point where you the reader will walk away feeling you learned something that you can benefit from. A great songwriter Carole Bayer Sager is and a life so far well lived.

She said that she suggested "And" at the beginning of That's what friends are for...it was Burt who suggested it

I understand Burt had an extra note in the music line for Carole's lyrics, so Carole suggested adding the word, "And" to cover that extra note. But if Burt said he came up with the idea to add it, OK. One of them did, or maybe they both came up with it simultaneously. What's it matter? It's a great song! ☺️🙏❤️
