Listening to your story it reminds me when one of my favourite niece who's the only girl of my sister. Giving and serving is the most empowering feeling.This evening as I was walking to get my life , a young polish man passed me, he was asking for money, I was at the cash machine and obviously felt unsafe, and reacted negative, to his reaction . I felt really bad about my reaction to him. I call him and ask him if he was hungry , he said yes. It was a pleasure buying his meal I felt so good inside my heart that I was able to offer him some assistance. I was carrying food so why could he not have food. I’ve missed Oprah everyday at 4pm, and I only now realize we had a bit of church everyday then. She is now known to me as Pastor Oprah, and her sermons are based on scripture-from all of the greatest books-and interpreted as only the best pastors can do. This is my story in a different and similar way that I didnt even know this when I started this too in 2013 for children in my home village in Uganda. Growing up we never got any xmas gifts at all, but very happy we had food and bread.Then I grew up and live in Norway and when my first child was 2 years and got many xmas gifts, I felt so happy and so sad that children in my village still donot get xmas gifts. The following year I decided that in my very small ways that was to change and since then every year we share our xmas gifts with children. Now 2 friends and all members of my family in Uganda and Norway have joined us and it is our best xmas experiences to see how happy more than 80 children get when we have xmas party for them with gifts and scholarstic materials . It's amazing and a great reward.

I was a beneficiary of the Ronald Mcdonald house when I was a child and I definitely remember the excitement of getting a toy from Ronald. Was so exciting and I was so happy. This speech is so poignant.
