So someone recently told me that Carolina Crown's bass is "fake", and that they get the real oomph of their bottom voices from synths.. I call bullshit, and use this video as evidence.

During this movement our sound guy turned the volume on all of our sound to 0. It was just pure organic sound

For those wondering why there are some woodwinds scattered in, this was part of a clinic. Crown Brass was joined by members of the Texas State Champion Cedar Park High School Marching Band. Bob Chreste was a director at CPHS and worked with Crown Brass.

Im sorry, but BD nor anyone else could compete with them this season. they were more powerful and cleaner than any hornline on the field this past season.. BD wasnt louder, and they obviously werent cleaner(JIM OTT).... so lets not start a rage war ehh?

Compared to other corps, Crown's percussion and color guard isn't too good (in my opinion), but the brass section of Carlina Crown tops everyone by a landslide.
