In the last couple of years I mostly listen to jazz and some classical music, but I always like to hear deep and meaningful music. This reminds me of the best Vince Watson songs, and some stuff from Detroit's legends but with your touch of course, this is you.

Stupid question but I gotta ask. I just want to know how "not touching" a theremin yet having your body be so intertwined with it... has this impacted your personal life in any way? Are you more about your personal space? More conscious about your body language and gestures? Do you sometimes find yourself playing a theremin on someone's skin lol

Krawna She’s touching it multiple times. I have noticed that I start picking up different melodies and figuring out hand positions for playing them on the theremin. I’m a multi-instrumentalist but for the latest years I’ve mostly focused on the theremin and singing, as well as teaching people to play the theremin. Quite oftenI can play a melody instantly on the theremin but have no clue which are the notes. And I’ve found theremin is close to singing. No keys, no octaves, no free strings, no fretboard. Just one monophonic voice going on a glissando from the lowest to the highest note. And the quickest of my students to learn to play it is a singer who doesn’t play any instruments. When you sing you have no clue where to hit a specific note. You just have to know how to control your body to make the correct note both when singing and when playing the theremin. You touch the theremin when you either make the highest note or want to mute the instrument. But mentally the instrument is more about being in complete control of your body and posture than not touching the instrument. I’ve gotten the best playing tips so far from my massagists. I’ve been playing the theremin for 18 years, completely self taught (you can’t study it where I live except my classes) but starting to teach other people to play made me advance the most since I had to think why I’m doing everything I do while playing.
