I'm a huge Rangers fan. That said I have seen my Rangers completely melt down in crucial situations for the last 30 years. I will NEVER count a team out until we win the 4th game. The Canes still make me nervous.

Igor looked great but don’t get hung up on all the shots Carolina took. Most of these were low danger and not real threats to score. The canes offensive philosophy is to just throw pucks at the net and hope for a deflection or broken play. It’s not sustainable to score goals this way in the playoffs especially against the rangers. The canes coaching staff needs to go

It's a coaching issue for sure. Not that our coaching staff is bad but inadequate in the playoffs. I am not calling for a new coaching staff - except for maybe a new offensive coach (looking at you Daniels - I think you are in over your head). This coaching staff needs to figure out how to bring themselves to the next level. They are excellent at developing young players and getting them to the playoffs BUT they are not good at making needed adjustments during the playoffs to get this team to advance. I say they stay BUT they must go forward with solid plans to bring their game as coaches to the next level. Like last year in the round we were eliminated we are being out coached. This coaching staff doesn't deserve anything more than a pay raise which brings them to market rate average for teams that consistently find entries to the post season. They need a compensation scheme which rewards them well for advancement to the Stanley Cup finals. It's not a front office or ownership issue anymore. Nor is it a problem with not having players who aren't talented enough. We need coaching leadership which has answers to bring this team through challenges and adversity. It's time for at least a Martin St. Louis level consultant who can bring in fresh ideas to at least help improve the special teams strategies.

I totally believe this is achievable by Carolina, they are in a position where there's no tomorrow after game 4 unless they win, IF necessary 🤔 it's definitely necessary to keep your season alive 2 of the next four are at home 2 at home and 2 away 2 of the next 3 are at home, force the game 7 and anything is possible anybody's game then totally believe in this team, game 4 we knock the cracks into this team the real one will be when we take game 5 then Ny will be like WTF then it's back home here, we got em, game 7 here we come #GOCANES

Not sure that the canes are able to overcome that demoralizing loss last night. They may win next game. However the 4th is always the hardest. So we shall see LGR!!!!!!

Ordinarily, I'd have a lot of confidence for game 4, and unlike last year, this one is at home. I think it truly comes down to that first period. The Canes need to unleash a hellstorm of unholy fury upon the Rangers and get a multigoal load.

Think? No. Hope? Sure. Expect? Certainly not. The Canes had their chances in games two and three and didn't do the little things that win games. The Rangers have not hurt themselves as the Canes have... That being said...there is zero reason the Canes can't win Saturday night. They should come out angry, free, and loose... there are zero expectations. In fact, they should look at it as the last chance to pay the Rangers back, in spades, for the cheap crap they've done all series. Will they? I guess we'll see.
