"Carolina In My Mind" | 20th Anniversary of Sweet Signatures A Cappella | Elon University

"Carolina In My Mind" by James Taylor is a song that holds so much meaning to every woman who has ever been a part of this group. It is always sung by the graduating seniors at our annual spring concert. It is a song reflecting homesickness for North Carolina and is very fitting as the seniors are preparing to graduate and leave Elon. The alumni in attendance join the current members on stage with singing the background. This has always been such a bonding moment for past and present members of Sweet Signatures and remains such a special tradition for all of us to share.
This year, since we are unable to have our typical spring concert, we wanted a way to celebrate 20 years of this special group. We joined together with our alumni to record "Carolina In My Mind." The track features voices from both current members as well as the alumni. We were lucky enough to be able to feature our amazing alumni in this video as well.
