Amazing results! In the process of redoing my j16 and happy I found your video. What rustoleum primer did you use? How has the floor held up to use so far?

The "Marine" grade primer. It will take a little more primer than you might think (just a little), but the paint adheres really good to it. I used a different brand on the outside and wished I would have used the Rustoleum. Best of luck and thanks for the kind words, it's fun to fish on, but I do wish I had the 16!

did you use anything else ( screws or screws w/ floor anchors )besides 5200 for mounting center console

Great question, I did not until about two weeks ago. 5200 came loose so I hade to put screws. I 5200 them in super good though! My cooler is holding good with no screws

Do you need to put any kind of clear over that cans of splatter paint? I’m fixing to redo my Botton just trying to get ideas how to do it I want to do the top of mine like yours.

I didn’t and it held up super good. I put it on with the paint still tacky. Hope that helps

The price of a plastic or fiberglass center console blank is $500+. You can buy a damn kayak for that price. I'm working on building my own
