OH YES! I was born and raised here in southwest VA where I still reside. It's close to Bristol, TN and my band has been recording for a few months there on State Street - Bristol TN. We play metal, but here... The sweet sounds of your grandfather's bluegrass playing in campsites and in the homes of the country-folk is the true musical sounds in these Appalachian (Real pronunciation is ' app- a- latch- an ' ) Mountains. There are no-more talented and humble musicians than here in these green, forest covered mountains. Respect to all of you, and man that playing is truly something vintage and purely heartfelt music.
