My dad been a Steeler fan for his whole life. I have been a Panthers fan since their beginning. My dad says people in Pittsburgh called Carolina and their physical ground and pound philosophy “the Steelers Of The South”. Our culture is meant to play tough physical defense and rum game. That is the type of football that embodies “Keep Pounding”. We need to get back to that.

Personally, I don’t think this is an immutable personality trait/characteristic. If he can learn when to not let his natural impulses or desire to take control influence team business, he and the team will be fine with time.

What excites me most about Dave Canales' coaching philosophy, aside from wanting to start by building real relationships with the players first and foremost, is his Norv Turner- esque concept of figuring out what our players do best and using that as the guideline for building our offense. He's not going to force the players into his preconceived notion of how and offense should run. . . "We are gonna become what Bryce is great at."
