Love the names you give your projects. Btw, I think your property is very pretty, looks better than when you first got it.

Awesome idea. We end up burning pallets on the farm because we somehow rack tons.

Lookin good, you have been staying busy and yes I think most homesteaders have a place where they put stuff until they can find a use for it.

If you have "horse fencing" this would work for pigs. Definitely need very strong wire fencing. Also (like rabbits), you need to bury the fencing (or concrete and fencing bottom edging), as they will root and dig at the fencing to get out. Put the wire fencing on the inside of the posts, as they will rub against the poles, and chew on the wood, like any other animal, and it will eventually take down your posts and awnings. Same for having pigs against the garage wall. Rubbing and scrubbing against the wall will eventually make holes. The very reason why pigs, hogs, or piglets are kept away from wood posts and barn walls. If you nail pallets against the garage wall, this would jury-rig solve that portion of the problem. Small pigs can be just as onery as diggers/rooters, and get-loose schemers as any other farm animals.

I’d like to get one of the awning to go over my air compressor. The gate looks good. I’m in South Carolina also.

To make untreated wood weather resistant coat it with waste motor/atf oil. Great for trailer decks and rails. I got 30x36 pallets and use them as walkaways so far three years.

LOL....There's NO way to do a fence "wrong". Whatever WORKS is just fine. FREE is best and a 'junk pile' saves a TON of time and money. One junk pile isn't enuf for me. I keep 'em 'categorized', but junk piles, bins, drawers, ect. keep life simple, fast, and cheap here. You keep inviting us to tell you "what to do better or what you've done wrong" and yer never gonna get that from ME. You are an individual with your own ideas and resources. You just keep doing your best with what ya got and I'll keep enjoying watching you 'git 'er done'.

The wire fence is not strong enough for hogs.

Hogs can be brutal, they love to rub their big bulky bodies against stuff and I don't think that little t post and fence will stand up to them, they can be destructive with wood too.

Goat kids will go right through the gaps in the center of your gate.
