I’m the same age as her us and I’m having to work 60-80hrs a week just to survive here in the Seattle area. It’s very difficult to save any money, but I’m doing it so I can hopefully leave the US someday. Panama is very high on my list of places I would consider moving to.

I moved to San Pedro Sula, Honduras a few years ago after I met my wife there. We bought our house for $25,000! And it’s new construction. It’s a modest house but I’m happy. Has a back yard, two bedrooms. But I totally agree with you about your generation. My generation, generation X, has also taken it on the chin. After college, with loans, I knew I would never own a home. But meeting my wife and moving to Honduras has totally changed my perspective. I’m 50 and I finally own a home

You can buy a brand new two bedroom house in Panama for $35,000 to $50,000!

Great job on the interview. Count it as a blessing living in Panama. Next to the Coronavirus, many out of work, the unrest, there are many tense situations in the United States right now. You are in a good place.

very nice i hear the local food is mostly organic. A lady on panama tours is getting off high blood medication after moving from the states and mc donalds:)
@NadaYoTengo4 жыл бұрын
Some is organic. Panama is one of the highest usage countries for kilos per hectare of pesticides in the world. Why? lots of insects, virus, etc.

I never imagined how difficult is live in USA, work 80 hours per week,. i wonder if with that kind of schedule someone is able to have a hobby or pastime, beside most of them must feel dead tired at weekend

How do you rank: 1. High speed internet 2. Power outages (do you have a generator) 3. Water shortages (do you have a water tank when the water goes out?) 4. My understanding is that you can't flush the toilet paper because it's a well/septic system. How do you dispose of it? Do you burn it?
@PanamaRelocationTours3 жыл бұрын
it depends on where you live. You CAN flush the toilet paper at your house. But some businesses have a sign up that request that you not flush the paper
@RawHebrewRemnant3 жыл бұрын

What about snakes?
@PanamaRelocationTours4 жыл бұрын
Panama is in the tropics so there are snakes. The higher up in elevation, the less chance of seeing a snake.
