The music video for “Door” is legit like a damn art piece. It enhances the listening experience for the song. It’s amazing. One of my favourite music videos of all time. Also, Chairlift, her former band with Aaron Pfenning, was really good too. “Bruises” was their biggest hit and what got me into them in the late 00’s, but “Amanaemonesia” and “I belong in your arms”, among others, are great too.

I’m so happy you finally reacted to this and so glad it resonated with you right away ! I think people classify the album as Artpop (like Magdalene by FKA Twigs) because it’s taking pop and turning it into a work of art, a canvas with odd rhythms sounds and melodies which can’t be compared to anything else ! If you have time you should check out her old band Chairlift’s album Moth which is a brilliant upbeat pop album !
