@Torilynn7272 In the classic Biellman the back position in the layback is not anywhere near as pronounced ... Her head was down to her knees before she pulled her leg over her head and again the back arch is super pronounced her head is nearly touching her back

I can read the comment in context with my own brain and know that "I don't like her" is rude ... it doesn't say she doesn't like her teaching method. @Mansio1 are you talking about the camel that Yu Na does where she inverts and appears to be spinning "upside down" on the outer back edge? If so, then any skater can "steal" another's spin because any move any skater does is able to be used/attempted by anyone else (if they copy an entire routine of someone else's though, that's a different story)

@FifiDaSkater You might not stiffen up as you grow. If you find the time to stretch every day, a body can keep flexibility for decades. When I was a teen gymnast, my coach and teammates nicknamed me "Flex" because I was bendy even by gymnast standards. Now I'm 41(!) and can still do oversplits on good days. I did lose back flexibility but that's because I suffered a neck injury in my 30s. So what you have to watch out for is injury. Take care of your body because you've only got one. ;o)

Uh, skaters can do whatever move they wish to. Nobody 'owns' a move. If it's someone's 'signature' it usually means they are the only ones that like/can do it. Besides, she is not the first. Many people have done it, and it was even Tonya Harding's signature long before it was Yuna's
