Nice! The Mishimoto aluminum radiators are $900 just for the part. $800 for the entire swap is a killer deal. Degas bottles often crack. They're plastic too. As do caps go bad. Gaskets fail. Still, that's a good deal on a radiator.

Making coffee wrong 😂 Did not know about getting the filter wet with boiling water before putting the coffee in it, knew about the bloom and slow pour from my Dad. Hi carolyn, love your campsite up there nice and quiet! Hope you have an enjoyable time up there!! I think im in for a radiator in my van the overflow that goes into the little tank had some kind of crap in it, i thiught the radiator cap was bad cause it kept leaking sround the cap put a new cap on and it was still leaking turns out that little tank was so clogged it wouldnt let the pressure escape into the tank it was building so much pressur it was leaking out of the seams where the plastic top and bottom are put on to the actual radiator so it looks like ill be a member of the new radiator club with you, "allways somthing" my aunt used to say yep! Well you enjoy carolyn ,well see you next week, give sadie a treat for me!❤😊

You aren't getting ripped off, that is the rate for auto work. and changing a radiator can be a pain in the butt! It's cool you didn't need the tranny cooler, it probably just got too hot when your motor did. I love working on vehicles always have and even at 62 I still enjoy it. The older I get the more I have learned to use leverage and such...or I get help from my kid for the heavy. You do appropriate maintenance, you can tell you do by the places you go! You trust your vehicle. Love your little tree and that water tester looks cool, I will check it out. Travel safe and have fun. ☮❤‍🩹

Carolyn, If you ever worry you might have a mouse put some instead potatoes in somewhere where Sadie can't get it for the mouse to eat and leave a few drops of water close by. After about 4 hours you won't have a mouse/mice problem.

Great video. Thank you for the visuals, very pretty. My main focus, even beyond following politics, is following the science of climate change over the past couple decades. I get all my information from peer-reviewed scientific journals, scientists studying in the field all across the planet monitoring Earth's systems and reporting their findings in writing and forums. From childhood I was always fascinated with nature and found myself alone a lot of the time just sitting by the creek or sitting in a field of wildflowers or a cornfield, just watching bugs and flowers and plants and small animals and goats and cows, chickens, and pigs. I grew up in a rural farming community and I never really understood why we were growing wheat, soybeans, and corn and I knew as a child, the corn and soy beans were not edible. I learned as I grew up that it gets processed into different forms and then goes into food. But I still didn't understand why we weren't growing food to eat nearby where we lived. Anyhow, growing up like that raises a lot of questions why we do the things we do. I've always asked the questions and I think that's where I became obsessed with following the science of climate change. I think you know many of the things I'm getting ready to say right now. We are in the Sixth Mass Extinction Event of Planet Earth. Species are going extinct every day at a rate much faster than any time in the geological history of Earth. I can't remember the number. It might be like ten times faster extinction rate than ever in recorded history, in the fossil record that is. I always remember a sketch of George Carlin, where he said the planet is fine. The planet isn't going anywhere, we are. I think that skit was back in the late 1990s. Of course, Carlin was a huge advocate for the planet, one of the first outspoken environmentalists on black and white television. A hippie at heart as you know. Carlin got it right according to world scientists. We are going extinct like the rest of the species on this planet. Our time here is actually pretty short. The IPCC report that was released in 2018 stated that climate change is abrupt and irreversible. Is irreversible. What we have done here by putting all the carbon in the atmosphere is we've changed the atmosphere and changed the ability of Earth to cool, to stay within that Goldie Locks range, to maintain that life-supporting state, like it has been in recent centuries that we've enjoyed industrialized civilization, being able to produce food at huge scale, and to grow the human population to eight billion, far surpassing growth of all other species on Earth. Right now we are in the throes of abrupt climate change and according to the scientists of the world, it is going to get faster and faster every year, which kicks in tipping points that accelerate the warming even more. Recent cryosphere data in recent years is showing that not only is the Arctic melting at an unprecedented rate, but so is Antarctica, dumping fresh water into the oceans, upsetting our weather cycles globally, supercharging storms, like tornadoes, hurricanes, polar events, heat domes that get locked in place like you're describing in Nevada. Most world scientists are resigned to the fact that we cannot slow down climate change and we cannot reverse it, no matter what we do at this point, it is run away. As you know, as well as I know, these extreme weather events are claiming lives of people and animals at larger and larger and larger numbers every year across the globe. Large areas of the planet are already becoming unhabitable. Other parts of the planet are being engulfed by water. And yet other regions are losing ability to grow food at scale. A reason there are so many migrants on the move across the globe, people can't live in regions where they cannot grow food and they do not have fresh water. A few years back I found a group of scientists on the internet that call themselves post-doom. These post-doomers which is a growing number of scientists that are connecting with each other and are practicing planetary hospice. Most of the scientists of the world are terrified, frustrated that policy makers are not listening to them. Policy makers are not taking real action. They've waited too late to take any action. And so these scientists realize that our time is short. At this point we only have a few decades and that's why they're practicing planetary hospice. So basically they get together, comfort each other, try and educate others, and try to appreciate life and live every day to the fullest because no one knows how much time we have left here. It actually is a fact that within a few short decades the population of humans on this planet will be reduced by a few billion. We're losing animal, plant, and tree species at an alarming rate now, as I mentioned earlier and we need those animals and plant and tree species, as you know, to have healthy air and clean water and potable soil. The plants and animals enrich the environment, unlike humans who largely destroy and reduce Earth's life-giving resources. As the animals disappear one species after another, our ability to thrive as humans on this planet will be lessened and lessened. It is possible that we could see the AMOC collapse and some scientists believe it is possible we could be plunged into another ice age. And maybe more species could survive an ice age compared to out of control heat; but the fact of the matter is the Earth that you and I live on right now in this moment is not the same Earth from our childhoods and this Earth is losing its ability to support life as we know it. And it's just going to continue to get worse for all the species on the planet in coming decades, not in the distant future a 100 years from now, but in our lifetime. This is what the majority of scientists all can agree upon. It's coming soon. It's here, it's all around us. It's chipping away at us little by little, but it will get worse and worse. I think a great example of what climate change means is just take a look at what happened in North Carolina. Those flood waters came in so rapidly and wiped out hundreds of square miles within a very short period of time. Hundreds of roads and bridges completely washed away, many feet of subsistance where the roads were, massive erosion, landslides, huge boulders and debris everywhere. It was impassible.That's why a lot of people were trapped for days and couldn't even hike out. For us, in this highly developed country where we live, the climate change means as these events get more extreme and worse, we're gonna have massive destruction to infrastructure, making it impossible for people to ger to safety, have access to clean water or food for days on end after a large event, when the electric grid is taken down, cell towers come down, roads and bridges are knocked out in areas and it takes months and years to rebuild. Meanwhile, here comes another horrible storm to wipe things out all over again. This keeps happening on the west coast of Florida. I've been following this for several years. It just keeps getting wiped out and people keep trying to rebuild. And then they turn around the next season and here comes another one and hits the same area again and again. Meanwhile, massive areas of the western shoreline are just being washed into the ocean. Vast regions of Florida eventually are gonna have to be emitied of residents because it'll be uninhabitable. People will not be able to rebuild fast enough. What we have now is an altered Earth. It is going to continue to change pretty dramatically in the next few decades until it is in a completely different state that will no longer be able to sustain organic life forms such as mammals, humans included obviously, many tree species and plant species, insects aquatic life forms, etc.. The Earth will always persevere. It will change states and the type of life that can live on the planet will be different than what we see now. Every time I see a beautiful photo on the internet of a fox or a bear or a dog or a cat or a beautiful bird, a Bald Eagle...actually I see a lot of these animals out here on the road as a truck driver...I feel such a great sadness because these animals are all going away in time eventually and so are we. I am not trying to be a negative Nancy. I am not trying to push forward an opinion. All of the things I've stated here I have read from scientific writings, scientific journals, scientific publications, the IPCC reports that come out every year. Because I devote so much time to studying what these scientists are learning in real-time out there across the globe where they study and collect data in real-time in these various environments, I am just relaying the information that they have discovered and the projections they are making. And of course, we don't even have to read everything the scientists have to write about what's happening around the globe. We can see it in our own backyard. As you mentioned in Nevada, you see it. I live in Ohio and I see it. My family sees it. Things are extremely different in Ohio then they used to be. We hardly get any snow in the winter anymore. We're seeing record-breaking numbers of tornadoes in the spring. Our summers are unbearably hot. It's like living in Florida. Fall has moved from September to November. Spring is practically non-existant. We've gone from four sasons, it feels like to two seasons, summer and winter, for the most part. I hope you really enjoy your dog.
