Too funny...two casinos and no cell signal...well at least they have their priorities in order ! lol I so enjoy your videos and your commentary, historical and just observations. You still have the joy and appreciation of a 7 year old. It is so refreshing. By the way, I think you are one of the few RVers who actually comments on the feats of engineering in North America. Truly remarkable achievements.

If you haven't already, you must drive the Banff and Jasper routes. Stunning. I always laugh when I'm driving through, there's a sign that says something about 'distracted driving laws'. I ALWAYS think, "Then you should create a tunnel because the view in every direction is a distraction." 🤣🤣

Yes, was hoping to make it there last summer but didn't' make it. Someday! Yeah, the distracted driving laws crack me up sometimes too - there are so many distractions they don't fine you for. LOL

We’ve done Beartooth many times exploring. If you had had 4 wheel Drive, off to the right just before Cook City, there are many mining areas, old log cabins etc. Lamar River Valley is one of our favorite areas of Yellowstone. It’s the area where we saw wolf, grizzlies are prevalent, and of coarse the Buffalo herd. Actually it’s where the tour groups go to look for animals. Northeast entrance was our favorite entrance. First time we went that way, there was virtually no one, last time it had become very crowded. So much to see and do. Next time do the highway from Cody over the mountains, it won’t disappoint.

Great timing on this post, today is Yellowstone's Birthday (149 years young)! Today is also my 12th anniversary of working and living in Yellowstone. The Beartooth is my backyard, it's awesome. A few nice boondocking spots and some campgrounds. Relatively unspoiled. I really do wish we had cell phone in that area, internet is really tough until you get to Mammoth Hot Springs, it's the one thing would really make it viable to stay all summer. The 'No Vacancies' were pretty much all season long as we had an extremely busy summer. I just bought an older 1988 class c and have worked on it all winter and can't wait to head out and go camping this summer. The Pacific Northwest is my playground. P.S. - The 'bison jam' might have actually have been a 'wolf jam', that area is known for a pack, they were probably far out across the field, hence the scopes and long lenses. Sorry about the camping, we get invaded like this every summer, and a lot of them don't know what it means to give people space.

Hi Carolyn - GREAT VIDEO! You drove right past my tiny little back country office at the Tower Ranger Station. I was not there last summer due to COVID but I will be back this summer. Sure would have been fun to see you. You were lucky to see a large herd of bison running like that. Doesn't happen all that often. Mostly, they meander about. That animal jam could have been a bear or wolves. One of the wolf packs worked its way into that area this summer. If you see a bunch of people looking at something, don't be shy. Park the rig and ask what they are looking at. Lots of fun!! We boondock at that exact spot outside Gardner frequently. That dirt pile next to you RV is sometimes used as a shooting range back drop. The shooters stand where your chairs were! I've never seen so may campers on that spot. The most I've ever seen are two besides us. I heard things were crazy busy. You picked the perfect time to visit. The shoulder seasons, Spring and Fall, are the best times unless you want to see things in the winter. Too bad you did not see any bears. I really missed the park this year. Your video helped satisfy my longing and it also piqued my desire to get back. Thanks for sharing your trip! If you are back in the area stop by the Tower Ranger Station and ask for Kevin H.
